New 2012 AUDI A4

Really old saw the Audi A4 is not even next to the brand-new BMW 3 Series and the newly facelifted Mercedes C-Class. The optical touch-ups are therefore low. The focus of the revision was primarily the consumption.

Freshly lifted the Audi A4 is now in the three-way battle with BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class. Sedan and wagon are optically polished and smooth, thanks to the now more standard start-stop system consume an average of eleven percent less than before.

The optical lifting falls out rather decent. The most striking feature is the redesigned radiator grille, whose upper edges are now beveled like the larger A6. There are also more angular air intakes and round instead of rectangular side lights. At the rear is a modified bumper, the new interior colors and materials to choose from.

For the drive, four petrol and six diesel available. New is the 1.8-liter gasoline turbo with 125 kW/170 hp and a fuel consumption of 5.6 liters. The previous engine with 118 kW/160 hp 7.1-liter still needed. Entry-level engine is the 1.8 TDI with 88 kW/120 hp, top engine is now a supercharged 3.0-liter gasoline engine with 200 kW/272 hp. The S4 sports model to 245 kW/333 hp it comes.
